Bring a bit of magic to your children’s room

Do your kids love magic tricks, and stories of dungeons and castles and wizards and princesses? Do they play dragon-slaying-knight and the beautiful princess?

If so, you could help their dream and games seem more realistic with a themed room. There are loads of ways to make a magic castle themed bedroom.

Your children’s bedding may already reflect this, if not – that’s the first place to start! Princess sheets, or ones that make your little one’s bed look like the turret of a castle.

You can add to this by painting one wall as though it is a castle wall, or as though it is looking out from a castle onto their fair kingdom.

Let them know how tall a knight they’re becoming with the Castle Height chart, or how mystifying they look with a wizard’s hat on in their fairytale castle shaped mirror. Find a cuddly dragon for them to run away from, and a castle or wizard themed photo frame to put their favourite conquest in.

You could even attach a witch’s hat themed light switch cover, with a mini plastic broomstick and witch’s hat whenever you turn off the light.

With all these things in place, and many others, your children can feel like they live in Camelot – you could even paint nameplates about their beds with the names Arthur and Guinevere!!
